How to Register Online for Captain through Direct Short Service Commission? To enlist in the ranks of the Pak Army as a Captain, interested candidates should navigate to the official website of the Pakistan Army at https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/.
The date and time of the test will be communicated via individual e-mail addresses. Once specified, the date will remain unchanged. Candidates should bring the necessary documents (as mentioned in the advertisement) and pay the prospectus fee on the day of the test. Proficiency in computer skills is mandatory. Online registration remains open until January 15, 2024.
Selection Procedure:
- Preliminary Tests:
- Includes written/ intelligence/ personality tests.
- Visit the official website for the exam slip.
- The exact date of the exam will be printed on the exam slip/ roll no slip.
- Physical Tests:
- 1.6 Km run – 9 minutes
- Push Ups – 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Sit Ups – 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Chin Ups – 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Preliminary Selection:
- Candidates will undergo an initial medical test at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
- Further Selection Procedure:
- Interviews of successful candidates by the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board will be held at Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. Separate call-up letters will be issued.
- Successful candidates will receive call-up notices for interviews.
- The final selection will be made at GHQ based on the candidate’s overall performance.
- Documents Required at AS&RCs:
- Candidates will deposit the following documents at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs):
- Original certificates/ documents/ details marks sheet along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/ degree.
- Candidates serving in Government institutions will render No Objection Certificates (NOC) from the concerned establishments.

- Training Period:
- 6 months at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
- Bond:
- Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 07 years on stamp papers worth Rs.100/- duly countersigned by Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Oath Commissioner.
