The Energy Department, Government of Balochistan, through the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC), is inviting applications for 18 posts of Assistant Electric Inspector (B-17). These vacancies are distributed across multiple zones under zonal allocation and merit quotas.
The Assistant Electric Inspector (B-17) will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations, ensuring compliance with energy regulations, enforcing safety standards, and supporting renewable and conventional energy operations across the province. The role requires strong technical knowledge, field inspection capability, and the ability to advise on energy policies and regulatory frameworks.
Conduct inspections of electrical installations, energy systems, and power infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with provincial and national energy standards.
Assist in enforcing safety regulations and reporting violations.
Prepare technical reports and support energy regulatory decisions.
Collaborate with energy teams for improvement of electricity distribution and safety systems.

Must hold domicile of Balochistan.

The Assistant (B-16) performs administrative support duties, documentation, file management, departmental correspondence, and office coordination.
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
OR Intermediate / FA / FSc (2nd Division) with required typing and computer skills.
MS Office proficiency
Typing speed: ~30 wpm (English)
Strong communication & documentation skills
