Candidates must have 2nd Division in any of the following:
Matric (Science) + 3 Years DAE (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Automobile)
F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) + 3-month computer course from a recognized institute
ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science)
Age Limit
18 to 25 years
General age relaxation: 5 years
Additional relaxation for:
Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Rural, Balochistan, Tribal Areas, AJK & Northern Areas – 3 years
Ex-Servicemen – up to 15 years
Government servants with 12 years’ service – 10 years
Son/Daughter of deceased civil servant – 5 years
Written Test: 70%
Interview: 30%
Open Merit – 60%
Minorities / Non-Muslims – 5%
Orphans – 5%
Ex-Servicemen – 10%
Son of Railway Employee – 20% (including 2% for deceased employees)
