Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have 2nd Division in any of the following:

• Matric (Science) + 3 Years DAE (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Automobile)

• F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) + 3-month computer course from a recognized institute

• ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science)

Age Limit

• 18 to 25 years

• General age relaxation: 5 years

• Additional relaxation for:

  • Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Rural, Balochistan, Tribal Areas, AJK & Northern Areas – 3 years

  • Ex-Servicemen – up to 15 years

  • Government servants with 12 years’ service – 10 years

  • Son/Daughter of deceased civil servant – 5 years

Selection Criteria

• Written Test: 70%

• Interview: 30%

Quota Allocation

• Open Merit – 60%

• Minorities / Non-Muslims – 5%

• Orphans – 5%

• Ex-Servicemen – 10%

• Son of Railway Employee – 20% (including 2% for deceased employees)
