The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has officially announced multiple job vacancies under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Market-Based Salary (MBS) Policy – 2025. Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals with valid KP domicile for hiring on a contract basis in specialized investigative and intelligence roles.

Minimum 16 years of education (Master’s or equivalent) in relevant fields depending on the post:
TIO: Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, etc.
CTIO: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, etc.
TFIO: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Anti-Money Laundering, etc.
SIO: International Relations, Intelligence & Security Studies, Political Science, etc.
Relevant certifications (e.g., forensic analysis, cybercrime investigation, digital security, etc.) are preferred.
Initial Screening: CVs, academic records, and experience.
Aptitude Test: General, technical, and analytical assessment.
Panel Interview: Three-member committee interview.
Final Selection: Based on merit, performance, and reference checks.
Each position has a unique test structure including:
Relevant laws & investigation procedures (Anti-Terrorism Act, Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, etc.)
Digital forensics, data analytics, cybercrime laws
Financial crime tracking, banking regulations, AML
Surveillance techniques and OSINT (Open Source Intelligence)
