Applications are invited from highly qualified Pakistani nationals for the position of Chair / Coordinator-Researcher in Urdu & Pakistan Studies.

This role is ideal for experienced scholars specializing in Urdu, literature, history, international relations, and Pakistan studies. The selected candidate will play a key role in promoting Pakistan’s academic, cultural, and regional knowledge at an international level.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Urdu & Pakistan Studies program
Deliver lectures on Pakistan’s history, culture, politics, and geography
Promote regional academic cooperation and cultural exchange
Conduct research aligned with international academic standards
Represent Pakistan’s academic perspective globally

🎓 Basic Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a Pakistani national
Age limit: Maximum 55 years
Must hold a PhD degree in:
- Urdu Language / Literature
- Pakistan Studies
- History / Political Science
- International Relations
- Economics (HEC recognized)
Strong command of English language (mandatory)
Teaching or research experience at a recognized institution preferred
