The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Hyderabad has invited applications to fill vacant posts in the District & Sessions Court, Hyderabad. Job Details by Post
1. Stenographer (BPS-16) – 01 Post
Qualification/Experience: Intermediate from a recognized institute; proficiency in MS Office with certificate; shorthand speed of 80 W.P.M with certificate from a reputed institution; typing speed of 40 W.P.M with certificate from a reputed institution. Age Limit: 21-25 years. Domicile/PRC: District Hyderabad.
2. Junior Clerk (BPS-11) – 07 Posts
Qualification/Experience: Intermediate from a recognized institute; proficiency in MS Office with certificate; typing speed of 40 W.P.M with certificate from a reputed institution. Age Limit: 21-25 years. Domicile/PRC: District Hyderabad.
3. Naib Qasid (BPS-03) – 01 Post
Qualification/Experience: Primary education; preference will be given to skilled candidates having experience in Electrician work, AC Repair, Bookbinding, Carpentry, Painting, Driving, and Cooking. Age Limit: 20-28 years. Domicile/PRC: District Hyderabad.
4. Sweeper (BPS-03) – 01 Post
Qualification/Experience: Primary education. Age Limit: 20-28 years. Domicile/PRC: District Hyderabad.
Eligibility Conditions & Application Procedure
- Candidates applying for Stenographer (Sr. No. 1) and Junior Clerk (Sr. No. 2) must fill the Online Job Application Form and deposit a challan/fee of Rs. 800/- via www.nts.org.pk, payable through 1Link, 1Bill Participating Banks, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or TCS Express Counter. No hard copy of the form or challan is required for these two posts, and no application will be received by hand.
- For Naib Qasid and Sweeper (Sr. No. 3 & 4), candidates must send their applications on the prescribed form along with attested photocopies of CNIC, educational documents, PRC/Domicile, two recent passport-size photographs, and NOC (in case of government servants), addressed to the District & Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, by post or by hand, on or before 07.07.2026 till 3:00 PM. Candidates who applied earlier are advised to apply afresh.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each post.
- Female candidates will be given equal opportunity to participate.
- Special quotas (Women, Disabled/Special Persons, Minorities) will be observed as per rules/policy.
- Candidates with disabilities must submit a CNIC bearing the wheelchair logo issued by NADRA along with a valid Disability Certificate; a 5% disability quota will be strictly observed under Section 5 of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973.
- Government servants must apply through the proper channel. A government servant who has served the Federation or Province of Sindh for not less than 3 years is eligible for an upper age limit relaxation to 30 years.
- Overage candidates, if qualified and selected on the basis of experience, qualification, and skills, may have their case submitted to the Hon'ble Chief Justice, High Court of Sindh, Karachi for age relaxation approval.
- For Stenographer and Junior Clerk posts, candidates obtaining 50% marks in the initial test will be called for skill/typing and shorthand test by the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC).
- Test dates and results for Sr. No. 1 and 2 will be announced by NTS on its official website; the list of successful candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of the District & Sessions Court, Hyderabad
- The list of eligible candidates for Sr. No. 3 and 4 will be displayed by 15.07.2026 on the Notice Board and website for inviting objections, along with the Test/Interview schedule.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for Test/Interview. Candidates must mention an active cell number for communication via call/WhatsApp.
- Candidates must bring original CNIC and all educational/domicile/PRC documents at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Test/Interview. Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected without assigning any reason.
- Any external influence for selection will lead to disqualification, and the decision of the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC) is final.
- The office reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any post at any stage without disclosing reasons.
- The offer of appointment will be issued only to candidates found eligible in all respects after verification of educational documents, PRC, domicile, and other certificates from concerned issuing authorities.
