Ministry of Defence Analyst Jobs – Job Description

The Ministry of Defence (MOD), Pakistan is inviting applications for the position of Analyst on a contract basis. This opportunity is open to highly qualified professionals from diverse academic backgrounds including Computer Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Management, Economics, Law, Linguistics, Accounting & Finance, and Natural Sciences.

Selected candidates will work in analytical, research, technical, and strategic roles supporting national-level decision-making. Contracts are renewable based on performance, with continuation possible up to the age of 60 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data-driven analysis, research, and reporting

• Support strategic, policy, technical, or operational assessments

• Analyze information related to defense, security, technology, economics, or social domains

• Prepare analytical briefs, reports, and presentations

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: BS, Master’s, MPhil, or PhD (minimum 16 years of education)

• Age Limit:

  • BS: Up to 30 years

  • MS/MPhil: Up to 35 years

  • PhD: Up to 40 years (for specified disciplines)

• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized local or reputable foreign university

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
