National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC), formerly NTDC, is strengthening Pakistan’s economic and power infrastructure through its advanced national transmission and dispatch network. NGC is inviting highly experienced and qualified legal professionals to apply for the post of:
Deputy Manager (Energy Contract)
Employment Type: Contract (Extendable based on performance)
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (on the last date of application submission)
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
Must have minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years of law practice related to:
Corporate and commercial law
Legal work in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department
LLM / Master’s in Law or Barrister-at-Law (additional advantage)
Knowledge of legal matters related to electricity sector and energy laws (preferred)
Candidate must be Computer literate
Must be Registered with Provincial or Pakistan Bar Council
The selected Deputy Manager (Energy Contract) will be responsible for:
Drafting, reviewing & negotiating energy and power sector contracts
Providing legal assistance for electricity transmission and distribution projects
Managing regulatory and compliance matters
Coordinating with external law firms, courts, and government bodies
Advising NGC management on legal risk mitigation and dispute resolution
Preparing legal opinions, notices, agreements, MoUs, and corporate documentation
Deposit Rs. 650/- (non-refundable) through NTS challan
CNIC, Educational Degrees & Transcripts (HEC verified)
Bar Council Registration Certificate
Experience and employment certificates from previous employers
NOC (if candidate already serving in government organization)
No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
