The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA), established under the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024, is a newly formed regulatory body of the Government of the Punjab. PERA’s core mission is to ensure effective enforcement of special laws, improve regulatory compliance, and promote transparency across Punjab.

Key Responsibilities of Sergeant Driver (BS-07)
A Sergeant Driver in PERA performs operational and enforcement-support duties, including but not limited to:

Driving official PERA vehicles during enforcement, inspection, and regulatory operations
-
Ensuring safe, disciplined, and lawful transportation of PERA officers and staff
-
Maintaining assigned vehicles in roadworthy condition
-
Conducting routine checks of vehicle documents, fuel, and maintenance logs
-
Assisting enforcement teams during field operations when required
-
Following all traffic laws, departmental SOPs, and security instructions
-
Reporting accidents, mechanical faults, or irregularities promptly
-
Performing duties anywhere in Punjab as per departmental requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
-
Intermediate (FA / FSc or equivalent) from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Driving License Requirement
-
Valid Motorcycle / Jeep / LTV Driving License
-
Candidate must be competent in driving official vehicles under operational conditions.
Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 26 years

Age relaxation is not admissible, except as per applicable government rules (if any).

Height: Minimum 173 cm
