The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA), established under the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024, is a newly formed regulatory body of the Government of the Punjab. PERA’s core mission is to ensure effective enforcement of special laws, improve regulatory compliance, and promote transparency across Punjab.
PERA invites applications from qualified, disciplined, and physically fit candidates for the post of Sergeant Driver (BS-07). This recruitment aims to strengthen operational mobility and enforcement capacity throughout the province.

Posting Location: Anywhere in Punjab (preferably within concerned district)
Domicile Requirement: Punjab (District-based Cadre)
A Sergeant Driver in PERA performs operational and enforcement-support duties, including but not limited to:
Driving official PERA vehicles during enforcement, inspection, and regulatory operations
Ensuring safe, disciplined, and lawful transportation of PERA officers and staff
Maintaining assigned vehicles in roadworthy condition
Conducting routine checks of vehicle documents, fuel, and maintenance logs
Assisting enforcement teams during field operations when required
Following all traffic laws, departmental SOPs, and security instructions
Reporting accidents, mechanical faults, or irregularities promptly
Performing duties anywhere in Punjab as per departmental requirements
Intermediate (FA / FSc or equivalent) from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Valid Motorcycle / Jeep / LTV Driving License
Candidate must be competent in driving official vehicles under operational conditions.
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 26 years
Age relaxation is not admissible, except as per applicable government rules (if any).
Height: Minimum 173 cm
Body Mass Index (BMI): 27 or below
Chest Measurement:
Normal: 32 inches
Expanded: 34 inches
Minimum expansion of 2 inches is mandatory
Running Test:
1 mile within 7 minutes
Height: Minimum 162 cm
Body Mass Index (BMI): 27 or below
Running Test:
1 mile within 11 minutes
Vision: 6/6 (with glasses allowed)
Color blindness is not allowed
Special PERA Allowance admissible during the training period
