Eligibility Conditions – PPSC Jobs 2026 (Advertisement No. 49/2025)

Candidates applying for Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) jobs must meet the following eligibility criteria for each post:

1. General Eligibility

• Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan.

• Punjab domicile is mandatory for all posts.

• Applications must be submitted online via PPSC official website.

• Candidates must fulfill qualification and experience requirements on or before the closing date.

• Government employees must apply through proper channel.

Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria

 Professor of Urology (BS-20)

• Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC/PMDC.

  • FCPS / MS / FRCS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Urology.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 9 years post-qualification experience in the relevant specialty.

  • At least 3 years teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor.

  • Minimum 5 research papers published in recognized medical journals.

• Age Limit:

  • Male: 35 to 50 years

  • Female: 35 to 58 years

 Senior Registrar Paediatric Pulmonology (BS-18)

• Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMC/PMDC.

  • FCPS (Paediatrics) or equivalent qualification.

  • Relevant experience in Paediatric Pulmonology after postgraduate qualification.

• Age Limit:

  • Male: 25 to 45 years

  • Female: 25 to 55 years

 Assistant (BS-16)

• Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Second Division) from a recognized university.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in English typing.

  • Good command of MS Office.

• Experience:

  • Not mandatory.

• Age Limit:

  • Male: 18 to 25 years + 5 years relaxation

  • Female: 18 to 25 years + 8 years relaxation

2. Age Relaxation

• Age relaxation will be granted as per Government of Punjab rules.

• Special relaxation applies to women, transgender candidates, and government servants.

3. Medical & Registration Requirements

• Candidates must possess valid PMC/PMDC registration (for medical posts).

• Registration must be valid up to the closing date.

4. Selection Process

• Written Examination (where applicable).

• Interview by PPSC.

• Final selection on merit basis.
