Pakistan Railways, Divisional Office Rawalpindi, has announced new job opportunities for retired railway staff. Applications are invited from retired Assistant Station Masters (ASMs) / Station Masters (SMs) for appointment as ASM Grade-I (BPS-14) on a contract basis for a period of one year.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced railway professionals to continue their services with Pakistan Railways in Rawalpindi Division.

Only retired ASMs / SMs of Pakistan Railways are eligible.
Candidates retired on medical grounds, compulsory retirement, removal, or dismissal are not eligible.
Maximum age limit: 62 years (up to the closing date of application).
Candidates must meet all service and conduct requirements.
Eligible candidates will be called for a written test.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
Final selection will be subject to medical fitness from Pakistan Railways Hospital Rawalpindi.
Preference will be given to candidates having domicile of Rawalpindi Division.
Selected candidates will receive basic pay of BPS-14 and admissible allowances as per contract rules.
No pension or gratuity will be granted during the contract period.
Selected staff can be posted at any station within Rawalpindi Division.
The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or reject applications without reason.
Contract appointment may be terminated at any stage without assigning reason.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview/medical.
