Job Description 

The Punjab Police IT Wing, Central Police Office (CPO) Lahore, is hiring qualified and experienced professionals for multiple IT and technical roles under the “Modernization of Policing Systems (MPS) Phase-I” project. These positions are Punjab-domiciled, contract-based, and filled through an open competitive process.

The available roles range from senior technology leadership (CTO), software engineering (AI/ML, Blockchain, Full-Stack, DevOps), cybersecurity, system/network administration, UI/UX design, mobile development, database management, business process re-engineering, content creation, to operational roles such as program management and drivers.

Applicants must submit a completed application form along with CNIC, passport-size photographs, CV, and educational/experience certificates to the IT Branch, CPO Lahore. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be provided. Foreign degrees require HEC equivalence, and incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

1. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – PPS-11

Responsible for leading technology strategy, research, development, systems integration, and modernization for Punjab Police’s digital transformation. Oversees all engineering teams, sets standards, ensures data security, and collaborates with senior leadership for strategic IT implementation.

2–5. Senior Blockchain Engineer, Blockchain Engineer, Senior AI/ML Engineer, AI/ML Engineer – PPS-08

Develop and deploy blockchain-based security systems, digital verification solutions, and AI-based policing tools (face recognition, predictive policing models, data analytics). Optimize machine learning models, maintain data pipelines, and collaborate with system architects.

6. LLM Engineer – PPS-08

Develops large language model (LLM)-based applications, conversational AI tools, automated reporting mechanisms, and advanced NLP systems for Punjab Police operations such as incident reporting, document processing, and intelligence analysis.

7. Senior Database Administrator – PPS-08

Manages large-scale police databases, ensures data integrity, designs database architectures, monitors performance, and implements backup & recovery strategies.

8. Information Security Officer – PPS-08

Secures digital assets, performs threat analysis, implements cybersecurity frameworks, and oversees compliance with national cyber regulations.

9. Senior Network System Engineer – PPS-07

Responsible for designing, maintaining, and upgrading Punjab Police networks, ensuring secure and stable connectivity across all units and field offices.

10. Data Scientist – PPS-08

Extracts insights from large policing datasets, builds predictive analytics dashboards, develops crime pattern analysis models, and supports intelligence-driven policing.

11. Data Engineer – PPS-07

Builds and maintains data pipelines, ensures structured and unstructured data availability, manages ETL processes, and supports AI/ML teams.

12. Product Designer/Architect – PPS-10

Leads UX strategies, product flows, and technical architecture for digital policing products. Coordinates between development teams to ensure product functionality and usability.

13. Business Process Re-engineering Expert – PPS-08

Optimizes workflow, improves operational efficiency, designs new digital processes, and helps transition traditional policing into modernized digital systems.

14. Senior UI/UX Engineer – PPS-07

Designs user-centric interfaces for police systems, including mobile apps, dashboards, and internal applications. Ensures accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards.

15. Principal Software Engineer (Full Stack) – PPS-09

Leads back-end & front-end development, oversees code quality, architects scalable platforms, and mentors engineering teams.

16. Mobile App iOS/Android Developer – PPS-08

Develops secure mobile applications for police communication, complaint management, field reporting, and real-time data access.

17. Senior Software Engineer – PPS-08

Develops advanced software modules, contributes to system design, ensures software reliability, and collaborates with cross-functional teams.

18. Senior DevOps Engineer – PPS-08

Implements CI/CD pipelines, automates deployment processes, monitors infrastructure, manages cloud-based systems, and ensures system scalability.

19. Senior SQA Engineer – PPS-07

Tests all IT systems, applications, and software modules. Ensures bug-free, secure, and high-performance solutions before deployment.

20. Program Manager (Operations) – PPS-08

Oversees project execution, coordinates between technical and administrative teams, ensures timely delivery, and manages progress reports for the MPS project.

21. Text & Video Content Specialist – PPS-07

Creates digital content, video tutorials, awareness material, training documentation, and communication assets for Punjab Police platforms.

22. Drivers – PPS-02

Responsible for secure and timely transportation of staff, documents, and project-related materials. Must maintain assigned vehicles in good condition.
