Situation Vacant – Directorate General (Wildlife & Parks), Government of the Punjab

The Directorate General of Wildlife & Parks, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from suitable candidates to fill multiple project-based positions across Punjab’s wildlife development initiatives. These roles are available on a contractual basis, extendable based on project requirements and performance.

Available Projects & Positions

Revamping and Experience Development of Bahawalpur Zoo
- Project Director (PPS-9) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: Master’s in Zoology, Wildlife Management, or related field (16 years education).
  - Experience: Minimum 5 years in Wildlife Management, Conservation Projects, or Zoo Management.
- Lead Wildlife Veterinarian (PPS-8) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: DVM from HEC-recognized University; Registered with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council.
  - Experience: Minimum 5 years in the relevant field.
Punjab Wildlife Conservation and Habitat Restoration Program
- Project Director (PPS-10) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 50 Years
  - Qualification: Ph.D. or M.Phil in Zoology or Wildlife Management.
  - Experience: 12–15 years in Wildlife or related government projects.
- Director Monitoring & Rewilding (PPS-9) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 50 Years
  - Qualification: Ph.D. or M.Phil in Zoology or Wildlife Management.
  - Experience: 10–12 years in wildlife project execution or monitoring.
- Conservation Officer (PPS-8) – 4 Posts
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: M.Sc./B.S. (16 years education) in Ecology, Zoology, or Wildlife Management.
  - Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Wildlife Ecologist (PPS-8) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: Master’s in Zoology or Ecology.
  - Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Data Controller & Analyst (PPS-7) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 35 Years
  - Qualification: 16 years education in Computer Science, Data Science, or IT.
  - Experience: 3 years in data analysis, visualization (Power BI, Python, R), and database management (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
Development of Eco-Tourism Facilities at Lal Suhanra National Park and Salt Range
- Project Director (PPS-9) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: M.Sc. in Zoology, Wildlife Management, or related discipline.
  - Experience: 5 years in Wildlife Conservation or Project Management.
- Documentation Controller (PPS-7) – 1 Post
  - Age Limit: 40 Years
  - Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree; minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
  - Experience: At least 1 year of documentation or administrative experience.
