Rescue 1122, under the Emergency Services Department, Government of Punjab, has announced Internship Opportunities for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Interns across multiple districts of Punjab for 2026. This internship is designed to provide hands-on emergency medical training to young professionals in nursing, paramedical, and allied health disciplines.
As an EMT Intern, selected candidates will receive structured training in emergency medical response, pre-hospital care, patient handling, and rescue operations. Interns will undergo Basic Rescue Training at the Emergency Services Academy, Lahore, and may be deployed across various districts based on operational needs.
Assist in providing emergency medical care during rescue operations
Support ambulance and emergency response teams
Learn pre-hospital patient assessment and stabilization
Participate in emergency drills, training, and field operations
Follow SOPs of Rescue 1122 and Government of Punjab
Minimum 2nd Division in Nursing, Paramedical, or Allied Health Diploma/Degree
Qualification must be from a recognized board, council, or university
Punjab domicile required
Age limit: 18 to 30 years
Must meet medical and physical fitness standards

Written, psychological, and physical tests
Final interview at Emergency Services Headquarters, Lahore
Medical examination and document verification
Monthly stipend: Rs. 40,000/-
