Summary:
Professionals with strong Shariah knowledge responsible for reviewing bank products, ensuring Shariah compliance, conducting research, verifying contracts, issuing Shariah opinions, and guiding the bank in Islamic finance practices.
Core Responsibilities:
Review product proposals, agreements, contracts, and manuals.
Conduct Shariah research and analysis.
Prepare Shariah-based responses and verify product compliance.
Ensure corrective actions and compliance reporting to SBP.
Provide expert Shariah advisory to management.
